As per the lyrics of a certain song played by the once music group Nirvana: I don’t have a gun. Although I might support the possible constitutional right of others to bear arms, I have virtually no interest in ever shooting or killing another human being. My faith in God is perhaps a bit supernaturalist. I tend to rely mostly on God for my protection, sometimes even unto the risk of death.
Here in a big city, I imagine that it might be possible that I might someday run into certain problems in light of my not possessing any firearms. But I prefer to stand firmly in my faith in God, as well as perhaps in the good side of human nature. Whether it be because of my persuasive skills, the assistance of a police officer or a Good Samaritan, or perhaps even my own physical prowess, I expect that I will be safe enough even without a firearm in my possession.
