Find a cure? For what, for schizophrenia? In my opinion, there will never be a cure as such for schizophrenia, because there is not truly such thing as schizophrenia.
There is, however, social intolerance of behaviors that some find to be odd, such as those of the type that might at times be expressed by those diagnosed as schizophrenic. People just need to mind their own business more and to stop looking at schizophrenics. I personally do not consider the behaviors that many would call schizophrenic to often even be so odd.
The way schizophrenics are sometimes treated, including by the police, simply for behaviors that might not be so conventional borders on being a hate crime. We need to cure society, not schizophrenics. I would venture to say that our brains are not even so much different from those of so-called “normal” people. It might really be their fault and not ours.
