Dan Urtiz

I have in the past suggested that the last name of Urtiz might be have the last name of Ortiz as its historical origin. But I believe that I might have made a mistake; call it human error. The last name of Urtiz might actually in little or no way be affiliated with that of Ortiz. In fact, I assume that certain Urtizes might not even be very fond of those whose last name is Ortiz, myself included. I personally have the long notion that those who are of the Urtiz family might tend to be more spiritual, less educated, and more rustic than the typical Ortiz might be.
I have seen those of the Ortiz last name be occupied as doctors of medicine, celebrities, and certain few other possible elitists, but I have seldom or never seen that within the Urtiz family. But that alone need not mean that the Urtiz family is utterly small or non-existent. I have, for example, done searches for Urtizes on the once enterprise of Google Plus, as well as on Twitter, and found quite a few hits there. So there are actually at least some Urtizes out there, lurking in the shadows (excuse the metaphor).
I once said that the late Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. might have been so leftwing that he bordered on communism. Such might possibly have been an error on my part, perhaps even pseudo intellectual in nature. I actually know almost nothing about Luther King’s political orientation. He might or might not very well have been a left-winger, but perhaps not necessarily so communist.
I have in the past mistakenly misused used the word “tearjerker” to describe a sentimental movie or two that I have in the past watched, saying that having watched it made my “eyes water”. But perhaps I should have said that the movie made me a bit “misty-eyed”, which dictionary.com might define as being “on the verge of tears”. I actually shed no tears upon watching such movies, especially in the tearjerker sense of the word. I simply developed what might have been a thin film of tear water over my eyes with regard to the stimulus of watching such movies.
I, on but one single occasion, mistakenly and perhaps rudely said that I am “better than my father” is. But although I assume, incorrectly or not, that I might possibly be morally superior to my father, I believe that my father might actually be better than me in most other ways. He is a hard worker and man of the world in ways that I myself might not be. I try to respect my father, but gave way to possible mischief with regard to that particular remark denoting my superiority. But such a remark was actually probably far from true.
